Hojin Yang

Hojin Yang is a Research Scientist at Canva, specializing in video generation and editing. They previously served as a Machine Learning Engineer at Talka.ai, where they focused on conversational AI and multi-modal learning, and as a Machine Learning Researcher at Layer 6 AI, researching recommendation systems and natural language processing. Hojin also worked at Haiper, developing large-scale generative models for video and image, and briefly held a position as a Research Scientist at Leonardo.ai after its acquisition by Canva. Hojin holds a Master of Applied Science in Applied Machine Learning from the University of Toronto and is currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science at Sungkyunkwan University.
