Hu Yan is currently the Head of China Legal at Canva, a role they have held since 2019. Prior to this position, Hu worked as a Legal Counsel for Keyyang Precision Co., Ltd. from 2014 to 2018 and served as an Associate at Lungtin Law Firm from 2012 to 2014. Hu earned a Master of Laws degree from the University of California, Berkeley, where they were on the Dean’s List, and holds a Master's degree in Economic Law from the China University of Mining and Technology, Beijing. Additionally, Hu completed a language and culture program at Seoul National University and obtained a Bachelor's degree in Law from the China University of Mining and Technology, Beijing.
