Michael Wu

Michael Wu is a Product Designer currently employed at Canva since March 2022, focusing on AI and magic studio products. Prior to Canva, Michael worked at MYOB from March 2019 to March 2022 as a Product Designer specializing in Design Systems. Earlier experience includes a role as a UI/UX Designer at Intrepid Group for six months in 2018, and as a Product Designer at Crimson Education from March 2017 to May 2018, where design systems thinking was introduced alongside end-to-end product design. Michael holds a Master of Architecture from The University of Auckland (2015-2016) and a Bachelor of Architecture from the same institution (2012-2014), along with a Summer Exchange experience at Technische Universität Darmstadt in 2014, concentrating on Adaptive Skins and Urban Structures in architecture.
