Nik Youdale is an experienced software engineer currently serving as a Staff Software Engineer at Canva since March 2014. Co-founder of Acqualia, Nik has contributed to the development of Soulver for Mac and iOS, as well as previously creating Picturesque for Mac. Past experience includes a role as a Software Engineer at Posse from August 2011 to August 2013, where involvement included designing and implementing backend and frontend components for a social web application using Java and the Play framework. Additionally, an internship as a Software Engineer at Apple Inc. from December 2008 to February 2009 focused on the iOS media frameworks team, developing regression and unit testing suites to facilitate major code refactoring. Nik holds a BE/BSc in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science from UNSW, completed in 2011.
