Raul Taborda

Raul Taborda is a seasoned creative professional with extensive experience in design and leadership. Currently serving as Creative Director for LatAm at Canva since November 2019, Raul has also held roles as Principal Designer and Lead Designer within the company. Prior experience includes co-founding and acting as Creative Director at .MATTER from May 2017 to July 2022, alongside freelance opportunities such as Senior Designer at End of Work and Nightjar. Raul has significant graphic design experience dating back to 2015, with a notable project being the creation of Oi Digital Surf, a platform that revolutionized competitive surfing in Brazil. Previous roles include Graphic and Motion Designer at Radiográfico and Art Director at F/Nazca Saatchi & Saatchi. Raul holds a Bachelor in Social Communication from Universidade Federal do Rio de Janeiro and studied Communication Design at Universität der Künste Berlin. Additionally, Raul contributed to education as a teacher at Miami Ad School.
