Daniel Heumann is a passionate activist currently majoring in Communications and Women's, Gender, and Sexuality Studies at the University of Connecticut. At the age of nine, Daniel was featured in the PBS Frontline Documentary "Growing Up Trans," which sparked a lifelong commitment to promoting acceptance and understanding. Daniel is a Board Member of the GenderCool Project, where they provide strategic guidance to major corporations on inclusivity and have participated as a panelist at the Out and Equal Workplace Summit. Additionally, Daniel serves as an Honors DEI Student Specialist at UConn, facilitating programs that foster diversity and inclusion.
