Tania Alam

Assistant Project Manager

Tania Alam is a skilled professional in historic preservation and conservation, holding a Master of Science degree from Columbia University in the City of New York. With experience as a Graduate Research Assistant at the National Park Service, Tania contributed to the restoration of the sandstone sculpture "the Eagle" atop Fort Jay. Tania's roles at Columbia University included General Assistant and Graduate Teaching Assistant for courses related to architecture and preservation. Subsequent positions included Architectural Conservator and Senior Conservator at Jablonski Building Conservation, Inc., followed by the current role of Assistant Project Manager at CANY. Tania also holds a Bachelor of Architecture degree from Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology and an Associate of Arts degree in Psychology from Borough of Manhattan Community College.
