Eric Nelson is a seasoned instrumentation engineer known for solving complex measurement challenges. With a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering from Old Dominion University, they began their career as a Patent Examiner at the USPTO before progressing through various engineering roles, including positions at Lockheed Martin, MBARI, and the National Renewable Energy Laboratory. At MBARI, they contributed to developing SCADA systems and piloting ROVs, while at NREL, they advanced marine hydrokinetic and offshore wind energy technologies. Currently, Eric serves as a Principal Test Engineer at Canyon AeroConnect.
