Karin de Poorter

Karin de Poorter is a Senior Advisor and Project Leader at CAOP since 2023. They previously served as a Policy Officer for Employment Conditions at Arcares from 2001 to 2005, and spent 17 years at ActiZ as a Legal Advisor/Policy Officer. Karin has held various roles in volunteer leadership, including Director at the Shambhala Buddhist Meditation Center from 2009 to 2012 and Chairperson of the Board at Vereniging van Beheer from 2022 to 2025. They also contributed as a member of the Company Committee Market II at the Social Economic Council from 2019 to 2023 and represented the Capaciteitsorgaan in various chambers from 2018 to 2023. Karin completed their education in law and mediation at Utrecht University and Hogeschool Utrecht between 2008 and 2009.
