John Shartrand

John Shartrand is the Chief Investment Officer at CAP COM. John has over 25 years of experience in the financial industry.

John started their career as an intern/agent with Prudential Bache Securties and Prudential Insurance. John worked with the brokerage firm evenings and summers while attending school full-time. After graduation, they spent two years as an insurance professional before joining Griffin Financial Group in June 1988.

At Griffin Financial Group, John provided financial advice to both individual clients and business owners. John remained with the company until November 1995.

In their current role as Chief Investment Officer at CAP COM, John is responsible for overseeing all aspects of the company’s investment portfolio. John has extensive experience in investments, asset allocation, and portfolio management.

John Shartrand has a Bachelors of Science in Finance from Canisius College.

Their manager is Christopher McKenna, President & CEO. John Shartrand works with David Jurczynski - EVP & CFO, Brian Sheldrick - VP of Business Services, and Lee Carman - Chief Lending Officer.
