Tom Timothy

Tom Timothy is an accomplished executive with extensive experience in growth, operations, and commercial strategy within the energy and cycling sectors. Currently serving as Chief Growth Officer at Cap Energy since July 2025, Tom is enhancing pipeline generation and driving significant revenue growth. As Chief Operating Officer and Founder of Ovon Group, responsibilities include overseeing commercial operations, marketing, and innovation. Tom's previous roles include Commercial Lead at OVO, focusing on decarbonisation, and Team Principal & General Manager for North East Pro Cycling, where successful sponsorships were secured. Tom has also held leadership positions at Novo and E.ON UK, developing innovative solutions and marketing strategies. Educational qualifications include a Master’s Degree in Marketing from Durham University and a Bachelor’s Degree in History from Newcastle University.
