CAP Security
Bonke Malangane is a security professional with extensive experience in tactical and armed response roles. Currently serving as a Tactical Unit Officer at CAP Security since March 2021, Bonke previously held positions including Ex Senior Reaction Officer and Armed Response at Monitor Net Security from March 2019 to March 2021, and Reaction Officer at Mamba Strike Force CC from May 2017 to March 2019. Additional experience includes a role in the Response Unit at PHP Security from July 2018 to February 2019 and serving as a Security Guard at SNG VIP PROTECTION for a brief period in late 2013. Bonke's education includes time at Markshope Senior High School, focusing on mathematics and science, as well as prior schooling at Lwandlamuni Secondary School and Fofoza Primary School.

CAP Security
CAP (Community Active Protection) was established in July 2006 after several tragedies struck the community as a result of violent crime. After consultation between the Chief Rabbi of South Africa, Rabbi Goldstein, and a group of experts tasked with designing a mechanism and infrastructure to enable communities to combat crime, CAP was created. In November 2006, the first area launched in Glenhazel, Johannesburg. From a single community initiative, CAP has now spawned a collection of proactive, multifaceted, integrated and community run security schemes across 17 areas of Johannesburg. Our dynamic and innovative take on crime fighting has yielded resounding success across all areas incorporated into the scheme, reducing crime across by a staggering 80 – 90%. CAP is now active in 19 operational areas, consisting of over 40 suburbs across Johannesburg.
