Dr. Samrat Ghosh is an experienced academic and maritime professional currently serving as the Associate Head of Future Students at the Australian Maritime College since April 2022, where high-level advisory roles and collaboration with senior management teams are key responsibilities. Concurrently, Dr. Ghosh holds the position of Head of Learning and Assessment at Capability Co, focusing on credential validation services and policy development. Since September 2010, Dr. Ghosh has also been a Senior Lecturer and Course Coordinator for the Bachelor of Nautical (Applied) Science at the University of Tasmania. Prior maritime experience includes a tenure as Master Mariner at Pacific International Lines from 1996 to 2008.
