David McFarlane

David McFarlane is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in consulting and data solutions. Currently serving as a Managing Principal Consultant at Capco since September 2025, David leads the delivery of data solutions for clients across Scotland and the UK. As the Director of Marlu Consulting Ltd since July 2014, David focuses on providing valuable consulting services to enhance business intelligence and data analytics teams. Previous roles include Managing Consultant and Principal Consultant at PA Consulting, Senior Consultant at Talan - UK, Project Manager for the Future Williams & Glyn Team at RBS, and Wealth Customer Journey Change Manager at Barclays Wealth Management, among others. David's career began as a Client Analysis Manager at Scottish Equitable and includes significant contributions to data quality and analytics within major financial institutions. David holds a Bachelor of Science (BSc) (Hons) in Actuarial Mathematics & Statistics from Heriot-Watt University.
