Miles Playne is a seasoned professional in customer experience and design, currently serving as Customer Experience Lead at Capco since April 2021. As the Founder of The Design Refinery since November 2012, Miles has specialized in digital innovation. Previous roles include Lead Product Designer at Three. (July 2018 - June 2020), CX Senior Product Designer at The BIO Agency, and Experience and UXD at SapientRazorfish for Lloyds Banking Group. Miles has also held prominent positions such as UX/UI Senior Designer for New UK, Senior Designer at DigitasLBi_UK for Infiniti Cars, and UX Designer at Native.com. Notable earlier roles include UX/UI Art Director at BAE Systems Detica and UX/UI Design Director - Consultant for Waitrose. Miles holds an HND in Graphic Design from Bournemouth & Poole College of Art and Design, completed in 1990.
