Matthew Edwards is a seasoned professional in community management and brand strategy, currently serving as a Brand Manager at Capcom since November 2014. Edwards has successfully managed communities for iconic franchises such as Street Fighter and Devil May Cry while collaborating with R&D teams in Japan on upcoming titles. With experience in selecting and managing events for the Capcom Pro Tour and identifying new Esports opportunities across EMEA/ANZ, Edwards has demonstrated expertise in both community engagement and video content creation. Prior to Capcom, Edwards worked as a freelance journalist for Super Street Writer, contributing features and interviews to prominent gaming magazines, and gained early writing experience at Eurogamer, Magicalia, and Imagine Publishing. Matthew Edwards holds a BA (Hons) in Journalism from Falmouth University.
