Julio Avero

Julio Avero has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. Julio recently worked as a DevOps Engineer at CAPE Analytics since 2022. Prior to that, they served as a Cloud DevOps Engineer at OTTO GmbH & Co KG from 2020 to 2022. From 2018 to 2020, they worked as a DevOps at Kreditech, a Big Data finance company. Julio also held the position of CTO at Jura Online, a comprehensive online learning platform, from 2017 to 2018. In addition, they worked as a Software Engineer at VivaReal, one of the biggest real estate portals in Brazil, from 2016 to 2017. Julio also worked as a Consultant at UOL - Universo Online, the main internet portal in Brazil, in 2016. Julio started their career as the co-founder and CTO of RDS CODES, managing the development and operations team, from 2014 to 2016. Julio also worked as a Consultant at HSBC from 2010 to 2014 and at DMC Brazil from 2009 to 2010. Lastly, they served as a Consultant at Amadeus IT Group from 2008 to 2009.

Julio Avero has a diverse education history. In 1999, they attended USP - Universidade de São Paulo, where they pursued a BSc in Computer Science, completing their degree in 2003. In 1997 and 1998, prior to their time at USP, Julio also pursued a BSc in Computer Science at Universidade Estadual Paulista Júlio de Mesquita Filho.

Later on, in 2011 and 2012, Julio attended ESIC Business & Marketing School, obtaining a Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Project Management.

In terms of additional certifications, Julio obtained a Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA) certification from The Linux Foundation in August 2021. In 2018, they received an AWS Developer Associate certification from Amazon Web Services. Prior to that, in 2017, they obtained an AWS Solutions Architect Associate certification, also from Amazon Web Services.

- SCWCD 1.4 – Sun Certified Web Component Developer for the Java 2 EE 1.4 from Sun Microsystems (CX-310-081) in 2007.

- CAE – Certification of Advanced English from the University of Cambridge in 2006.

- General English certificate - 40 day course in London from Frances King School Of English in 2005.

- MASTERMIND – Leadership, Interpersonal Intelligence, and Effective Communication from Albuquerque Business Institute in 2005.

- PET - Preliminary English Test from the University of Cambridge in 1996.

- Japanese language proficiency (Level 4) from The Japan Foundation in December 1994.
