Kyle Spraker serves as the Youth Orchestra Program Director at Cape Symphony, a position held since October 2014. Alongside this role, Kyle has contributed as the Principal Trumpet for the Cape Symphony Orchestra under the baton of conductor Jung-Ho Pak from 2016 to 2023 and currently serves as Second Trumpet with the New Bedford Symphony Orchestra. Participation in various orchestras as a guest musician includes performances with the Boston Ballet Orchestra, Vermont Symphony Orchestra, and American Symphony Orchestra, among others. As a featured soloist, notable performances include Leroy Anderson's "Trumpeter's Lullaby" and Haydn's Trumpet Concerto. Kyle is actively involved in chamber music as a founding member of the Redline Brass Quintet and performs contemporary music with the Callithumpian Consort. With significant educational experience, Kyle has served as a faculty trumpet instructor at various institutions, including the Nantucket Community Music Center, and holds advanced degrees in music performance and chamber music from the New England Conservatory and Longy School of Music.
