Cape Town Swing is a community-run non-profit organisation that exists to nurture a regional appreciation for the music, dance styling, and history of swing. As a member of the global swing dance community, we aim to facilitate a passion for swing in South Africa by:

- Hosting an annual international swing dance festival, Mother City Hop (https://mothercityhop.com)
- Managing and promoting The Pebble Shakers (https://pebbleshakers.co.za)
- Organising regular workshops, parties, and social events
- Connecting people with local swing dance schools
- Preserving South African swing traditions
- Building an inclusive community that extends beyond the city centre

Our events are all about dancing socially and having a good time. We like to keep things goofy and not overly serious. But we are serious about inclusivity, fun, and safety.
