Christopher Joyner

Christopher Joyner is a seasoned professional in government affairs and policy, currently serving as the Director of Government Affairs and Policy at Capella Space since May 2023. Previously, Joyner held the position of Principal at Overwatch Strategic Advisors from February 2022 to May 2023. From January 2015 to January 2022, Joyner was a Senior Advisor at the United States Senate Select Committee on Intelligence, specializing in foreign malign influence and contributing to the identification and counteraction of adversary influence campaigns. Joyner also served as Staff Director of the Senate Select Committee on Intelligence, overseeing key oversight and budget functions. Prior to this, Joyner was the Chief of Staff for United States Senator Richard Burr (NC) from June 2008 to January 2015. Joyner holds a Master's degree in Political Science and Government and a Bachelor's degree in Journalism and Foreign Service, both from Baylor University.
