Greg Phillips

Greg Phillips is Director of Communications for America’s Physician Groups in the Washington, DC office. Before joining APG, Greg worked at AARP as Media Relations Manager of Health Security and Caregiving for six years where he managed a wide range of health care advocacy, policy and consumer issues, including the Affordable Care Act, Medicare, Medicaid, prescription drug prices, long-term care, and family caregiving. Prior to that, he was the Director of Media Relations & Communications at The American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists (ACOG) where he led national media relations outreach and strategy for the ob-gyn specialty and women’s reproductive health issues. At ACOG, Greg was also the Deputy Editor in Chief of pause, an award-winning magazine for peri-menopausal and menopausal women. Greg received his B.A. in Public Relations from Virginia Tech (Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University). Born in Wilmington, DE, he has lived all over and currently lives in Washington, DC.
