Albert Simons

Albert Simons is an experienced professional with a robust background in planning, scheduling, and engineering. Serving as the Treasurer for KIVI Students Twente from May 2019 to March 2023, Albert organized multidisciplinary events to connect University of Twente students with the Royal Institute of Engineers. Currently, as a Planning & Scheduling Consultant at Capgemini, Albert focuses on enhancing scheduling through IT-driven solutions and developing data-driven planning tools. Previous roles include a Council Member at KIVI and conducting research on microfinance in Tanzania while studying at the University of Twente. Albert holds a Master’s degree in Industrial Engineering & Management with a specialization in Production and Logistics Management from the University of Twente, complemented by a Bachelor’s degree in the same field from the same institution and an internship at Scientia.Ltd, where data utilization for scheduling was explored.
