Andre Young is a systems engineer with extensive experience in developing electronic instrumentation and software for scientific research, particularly in the field of radio astronomy. Currently serving as a Senior Products & Systems Engineer at Capgemini, Andre has previously held positions at the Center for Astrophysics | Harvard & Smithsonian, Stellenbosch University, and Radboud University Nijmegen, where they contributed to various innovative projects, including adaptive beamforming and data processing for interferometric arrays. Andre earned a PhD in Electrical and Electronic Engineering from Stellenbosch University, where they also completed a Master's and Bachelor's degree in the same field.
