Edward Kern

Edward Kern is a seasoned professional with over 25 years of experience in security, training, emergency management, and program management across both private and government sectors. Currently serving as the Director of Security and Facility Security Officer at Capgemini since 2023, they previously held significant roles including Senior Security Specialist and Program Manager at the U.S. Department of Homeland Security. Edward also contributes as a Professor at the Naval War College, providing military science instruction, and has managed substantial security programs for multiple organizations, including Fortune 500 companies and large government agencies. They hold a B.S. in Administration of Justice and a Master’s degree in Criminal Justice, and are currently pursuing a Ph.D. in Criminal Justice at Liberty University.
