Gary Friel

Gary Friel is a strategic release manager currently overseeing the release lifecycle for the UK Food & Agriculture Department at Capgemini, where they have successfully managed over 30 releases with a focus on stability and efficiency. Previously, Gary served as an application consultant in both the aerospace and energy sectors, driving incident resolution and automation initiatives. Gary holds a Bachelor’s (Hons) Degree in Software Development for Business from Glasgow Caledonian University and has completed HNDs in Computer Software Engineering and Computer Games Development. Early in their career, they gained experience as a bar waiter and general operative in various roles.
