Léon Smiers

Léon Smiers is the CTO of Integration Technology in the Netherlands at Capgemini, where they focus on integration architectures, APIs, and intelligence integration such as machine learning and BPM. With over 30 years of experience, Léon has implemented and architected custom IT systems for large companies and has a passion for exploring new technologies to address business challenges. They are also a co-inventor and author of the Common Reference Architecture model (CORA), designed to enhance control over hybrid IT landscapes. Léon holds an MBA from the Rotterdam School of Management and an MSc in Astronomy from Leiden University.
