Maria Pernas

Maria Pernas is the Group General Counsel at Capgemini. Maria has over fifteen years of experience in the legal field. Maria started their career at Atos, where they spent thirteen years working their way up to Senior Vice-President, Group General Counsel - Operations and Group Diversity Program Manager. In this role, they were responsible for managing a team of 200 lawyers and contract managers, as well as implementing the group's legal and contract management policies and procedures. Maria also had worldwide responsibility for providing legal support to the group's Global Service Lines and Business Units.

In 2017, Maria left Atos to join Capgemini, where they are currently responsible for providing legal support to the company's businesses and operations worldwide. Maria is also a member of Capgemini's Risk Management Committee.

Maria Pernas has a Master of European Union Law from CEU San Pablo and a Master of Laws (LL.M.) from Universidad San Pablo-CEU - Complutense University.

Maria Pernas reports to Aiman Ezzat, CEO. They work with Olivier Lepick - Group General Secretary, William Rozé - CEO, Engineering and R&D Global Business Line, and Carole Ferrand - CFO.
