Rainer Bye

Rainer Bye is an experienced professional in the field of cybersecurity and software development, with a diverse background spanning roles in various organizations. Starting with an internship at Volkswagen de Mexico, Rainer contributed to the development of a project cost database and database migration concepts. Rainer then served as a Research Associate and Project Manager at the Competence Center Security, where project management and research on network-based attack evaluations were key responsibilities. Subsequent positions included roles at Smart Microwave Sensors GmbH, Hewlett Packard Enterprise, and DXC Technology, focusing on software development and incident response in digital forensics. Currently, as a Managing Consultant at Capgemini, Rainer leads initiatives in enterprise and cloud security, security architecture, and cyber defense. Rainer holds a diploma in Computer Science from both the Berlin Institute of Technology and TU Braunschweig.
