Simon Heaton

Simon Heaton is a highly experienced professional in contract negotiation and commercial management, currently serving as a Senior Commercial Manager at Capgemini since November 2023. Previously, Simon held the position of Senior Contract Negotiator at Avaya from August 2022 to November 2023. Simon's career began at DWP as a Lead Oracle Analyst from December 2001 to March 2006, followed by a role as an Oracle Consultant at Accenture from March 2006 to August 2006. Simon advanced at Capita between April 2008 and June 2010, taking on various roles, including Applications Consultant, Applications Manager, Commercial Manager, and Senior Commercial Manager. Educationally, Simon holds a First Class MA (ESRC) in Philosophy and a First Class BA (Hons) in Politics, both from The University of Hull, where studies took place from 1996 to 2000.
