Paul Morel has over a decade of work experience in various roles related to web development and design. Paul began their career in 2008 as a Digital Records Management Clerk at Public Services and Procurement Canada. In 2009, they worked as a Web Coordinator at Emploi et Développement social Canada (EDSC) / Employment and Social Development Canada (ESDC), where they focused on creating web pages in compliance with W3C and CLF 2.0 standards.
In 2010, Paul worked as a Web Developer at Idéeclic Inc, where they integrated content on Wordpress, developed Flash websites using ActionScript 3.0, and designed pamphlets and brochures. Paul later returned to EDSC in 2010 as a Web Coordinator, optimizing web pages for assistive technologies.
From 2011 to 2013, Paul worked as a Web Designer at Dium, where they honed their design skills. In 2011, they also worked as a Multimedia Developer & Photographer at cgm2.
Paul joined Université du Québec en Outaouais in 2014 as a Teaching Assistant, gaining valuable experience in academic settings.
From 2015 to 2018, they worked as a Web Developer at Kaboom communication design. In this role, they focused on back-end programming (PHP) and front-end development (HTML, CSS, JS) for websites on the WordPress platform. Paul was also responsible for e-mail newsletter template development on the Mailchimp platform and Linux web server administration.
Currently, Paul is a Software Developer at CapIntel, starting from April 2022.
Paul Morel completed their education at two institutions. From 2007 to 2010, they attended Cégep de l'Outaouais and obtained a Diplôme d'études collégiales in Techniques d'intégration multimédia. Later, from 2011 to 2014, they enrolled at Université du Québec en Outaouais and earned a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Graphic Design.
