Alex Mitchell has extensive experience in leadership and operational roles within the corporate sector, currently serving as a Governor at St Lawrence College since March 2025. At Capita, where employment began in June 2004, Alex has held several senior positions, including Head of Tracing Growth & McCloud Remediation and Director of McCloud & Goodwin Delivery, focusing on delivering large-scale remediation programs for Civil Service schemes. Previous roles at Capita include Deputy Head of Operations for Share Plan Services and Head of Operations for various divisions. Prior to Capita, Alex contributed to operations management at DHL, setting up military contract operations in Iraq, and managed sales for TNT Logistics in Saudi Arabia. Alex began a career in sponsorship sales with Thomson Financial after completing education at St Lawrence College Ramsgate from 1981 to 1994.
