Jaime Borjas

Jaime Borjas, P.Eng, is a seasoned engineering professional with extensive experience in civil and structural engineering, focusing primarily on the oil and gas industry. Currently serving as a Field Coordinator at Capital Engineering since May 2022, Jaime is seconded as Technical Lead Engineer for key Sulphur and Utilities units during a major turnaround. Previously, from April 2014 to May 2022, Jaime led the Completions Management System project at Fluor Corporation, where responsibilities included database implementation and user training across multiple project locations. Jaime's career also features diverse roles encompassing construction coordination, field support, and engineering design across various companies, including TIVENCA, SAIPCA, and Empresas Y&V, contributing to significant infrastructure projects in Canada and Venezuela. Jaime holds a Civil Engineering degree from Universidad Rafael Urdaneta and furthered education at the University of Calgary.
