Established in 2007, Capital for Children is a philanthropic and networking organization of leaders in private equity and related industries that invests in nonprofits serving children, youth, and young adults in the DC region. Through a combination of financial support and members’ participation on boards, Capital for Children forms relationships with its nonprofit partners and helps strengthen their capacity and impact. Capital for Children leverages the expertise of its members and provides guidance to nonprofits in areas such as organizational infrastructure, finance, audit, governance, and strategic planning.
