Althea Smith is currently the Lead Software Engineer at Capital One, having progressed from a Software Engineer to a Senior Software Engineer at the same company from 2022 to 2024. Prior to this, Althea worked at American Express from 2019 to 2021 as a Software Engineer and interned in the same field. Althea also served as a Senior Lifeguard for Palm Beach County from 2014 to 2017.
