Brian Barr

Brian Barr is a distinguished engineer currently serving as a Sr Lead Machine Learning Engineer at Capital One, where they focus on advancing machine learning initiatives. They previously held the role of Machine Learning Researcher and have a wealth of experience in developing data-driven models for machine learning applications at GE Research and their academic pursuits. Brian completed a Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering and a Master's degree in the same field from Clarkson University after earning a B.S. in Mathematics and French from St. Lawrence University. Their expertise includes optimization, deep learning, and numerical modeling, along with significant programming experience in Python and other languages.
