Chris Nims

Chris Nims is an accomplished cybersecurity executive currently serving as EVP and Chief Information Security Officer at Capital One since May 2020, leading the company's cybersecurity initiatives. With a strong background in technology and information security, Chris held various leadership roles at Capital One, including interim divisional chief information officer for both the auto finance and credit card businesses, and previously served as senior vice president of Technology for Cloud and Productivity Engineering. Prior roles encompass chief information security officer positions at Verizon Media and Oath, as well as a lengthy tenure at AOL, where significant advancements in information security strategies were made.
