Eric Axelson

Eric Axelson has a diverse professional background that spans multiple industries including education, music, program management, and risk operations. With early experience as a bass player and tour manager for bands like The Dismemberment Plan and Maritime, Eric developed strong communication and business skills while managing various aspects of touring. Transitioning to education, Eric taught AP English Literature at Bell Multicultural High School and later took on roles at organizations such as Rock the Vote, where program management abilities were utilized to enhance student engagement. Eric further advanced in the corporate sector at Capital One, holding various positions that included Process Manager, Scrum Master, and Third Party Risk Advisor, focusing on improving operational efficiency and overseeing risk management protocols. Eric holds a BA in English Literature from the University of Mary Washington and an MAT in Secondary Teaching from American University.
