Jay Heer

Jay Heer is an experienced software engineering professional with a diverse background in various roles. Currently serving as a Software Engineering Manager at Capital One since April 2017, Jay has also held positions as a Senior Software Engineer and Software Engineer at the same company. Prior to Capital One, Jay worked at Intuit as a DevOps Engineer and held the same role in previous tenures there. Additional experience includes DevOps Engineer roles at ADP and Green Dot Corporation, as well as a Build and Release Engineer position at Green Dot Corporation. Jay began a career in market research at Ipsos, eventually serving as Market Research Manager. Jay holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology from Auckland University of Technology, earned between 2007 and 2010.
