John Meyer is a seasoned design professional with extensive experience in product and user experience design. Currently serving as Senior Director of Design for the Enterprise Design System at Capital One since March 2024, John previously held several significant roles at PayPal from November 2015 to March 2024, including Director of Product Design for Consumer Experiences and Design Systems, where achievements included substantial adoption of design systems across mobile platforms and a global brand refresh. Earlier in his career, John was Design Director at Closed Loop Inc., and also contributed to organizations like The Advisory Board Company, Mentor Graphics, and the Madison Children's Museum. In addition to leadership roles, John co-founded the IxDA Sacramento chapter, fostering community engagement in UX design. John holds a Bachelor's Degree in Interdisciplinary Design & Technology from the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
