Michael Carroll

Michael Carroll is a seasoned cybersecurity professional with extensive experience in information security architecture and management. Currently serving as the Director of Cyber Architecture at Capital One since March 2024, Michael leads a team focused on innovative security solutions. Prior roles include Senior Vice President of Cyber Security Architecture at Truist and Head of Cyber Security Solution Architecture at SunTrust. In addition to corporate roles, Michael has contributed as part-time faculty at Kennesaw State University, teaching information systems and cybersecurity. With degrees in Information Systems and Information Security and Assurance from Kennesaw State University, Michael has built a robust career encompassing leadership, strategy, and technical expertise in various prominent organizations.
