Per Thastrom

Per Thastrom is a financial risk management leader with over 15 years of experience at large, international financial institutions. They currently serve as a Manager in Capital Markets & Risk at Capital One. Prior to this role, they were a Managing Consultant at FI Consulting, where they developed a payments processing engine and supported various financial analyses. Thastrom also held significant positions at Nordea, including Country CRO and Executive Advisor to the Group CRO, leading risk management initiatives for one of the largest banks in the Nordics. They hold a Master of Science degree in Engineering from Uppsala University and are pursuing a Master of Science in Environmental Management at the University of Maryland Global Campus.
