Ryan Young currently serves as Senior Vice President and Southern California Origination Lead in Commercial Real Estate at Capital One, a position held since June 2022. Prior to this, Ryan held the title of Managing Director at Barings Alternative Investments from June 2019 to June 2022. Experience includes serving as Vice President and Assistant Vice President at Wells Fargo - Real Estate Merchant Banking from November 2010 to June 2019, as well as holding the position of Investment Analyst at AvalonBay Communities for nearly a year in 2010. Ryan earned a Bachelor of Science in Management and Real Estate Finance from the University of South Carolina Darla Moore School of Business and completed the Wells Fargo Credit Management Training Program in 2012-2013.
