Tom McCarthy

Tom McCarthy is a seasoned finance professional with extensive experience in leveraged finance and credit analysis. Currently serving as a Leveraged Finance Associate at Capital One since January 2022, Tom has previously held positions at CIT as both an Associate and Senior Analyst, specializing in underwriting and portfolio management for sponsor-backed leveraged loans. Prior experience includes roles as a Credit Review Analyst and Credit Analyst at Sumitomo Mitsui Banking Corporation, as well as internships in global strategic investments at Babson Capital Management and seasonal client support at Merrill Lynch. Tom holds a degree from Fordham University's Gabelli School of Business and has also studied at Heythrop College, University of London.
