Matthew Estes has a diverse work experience. Matthew started their career in 2003 as a 3D Animator at Matthew Estes Animation and worked there until 2014. In 2005, they also served as a Tutor at The Art Institute of Portland until 2009.

In 2014, Matthew joined ANDERSON BURTON CONSTRUCTION INC. as an Assistant Superintendent and worked on various projects, gaining expertise in stone and concrete masonry. Matthew was promoted to roles such as Superintendent, Site Safety & Health Officer, Construction Quality Manager, where they developed strong relationships with subcontractors and ensured a safe working environment.

From 2019 to 2020, Matthew took on the role of Project Manager & General Superintendent at ANDERSON BURTON CONSTRUCTION INC., overseeing projects and maintaining quality control.

Since 2020, Matthew has been working as a Project Manager / Construction Manager at Capital Program Management, Inc.

Matthew Estes completed their Bachelor of Arts in Media Arts and Animation from The Art Institute of Portland, where they studied from 2005 to 2009. In 2009, they pursued further education in Character Animation by obtaining a certificate in Advanced Studies of Animation from AnimationMentor.com, completing the program in 2010.

In addition to their education in animation, Matthew has also obtained certifications outside of their academic studies. In December 2020, they became a Project Management Professional (PMP) certified by the Project Management Institute. Furthermore, in February 2023, Matthew acquired the Construction Documents Technologist (CDT) certification from the Construction Specifications Institute.
