Mark Barrett

Mark Barrett has over 30 years of experience in the field of IT. Their most recent role is Director of IT - Infrastructure at Capital Vacations, where they oversee IT operations, develops IT strategies, and manages the IT department's budget. Prior to that, Mark worked as a SR. Cloud Engineer at Priorpoint LLC, specializing in cloud solutions. Mark also served as an IT Manager at Rochester Electronics, where they were responsible for day-to-day IT operations and managed a team. Mark has previous experience as a Regional IT Manager at GL&V Pulp Group and as a PC Network Supervisor at Sverdrup Civil, Inc. Mark began their career as a Data Systems Technician in the US Navy. Throughout their career, Mark has demonstrated expertise in various areas, including infrastructure management, cloud solutions, project management, and network administration.

Mark Barrett has a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Computer Information Systems from Saint Leo University. Mark also holds an Associate of Science (A.S.) degree in Electronics Technology from Broward Community College and another A.S. degree in Electronics Technology/Computer Repair from Florida Keys Community College. Additionally, Mark has obtained the VMware Certified Professional 6 – Data Center Virtualization (VCP6-DCV) certification from VMware.
