Charly Román

Charly Román has an extensive work experience spanning over many years. They most recently worked as a Lead Site Reliability Engineer at Hum Capital, beginning in February 2020. Prior to that, they held the position of Senior Site Reliability Engineer at Covalto from April 2019 to January 2020. While at Covalto, they also served as a Squad Leader, managing software development and data science teams, designing hiring processes, and conducting performance reviews.

Before working at Covalto, Charly Román was a Backend Developer at Segundamano México from March 2016 to April 2017. In this role, they designed and implemented a feature toggle solution and developed CI/CD pipelines. Earlier in their career, Charly held various software engineering positions at Wizar, Interalia.net, Vinco Orbis Proyectos SA de CV, Diti Soluciones, and Revolución IP, specializing in areas such as platform design, API design, infrastructure management, full-stack development, CMS development, and web design.

Charly Román also has experience as a freelancer, providing services as a designer and developer, consulting on application architecture, and conducting web technologies training. Throughout their career, they have worked with various technologies and tools, including NodeJS, ExpressJS, RabbitMQ, MongoDB, PostgreSQL, Python, Ansible, Docker, PHP, QT, MySQL, and Linux.

Charly Román began their education in 2004 at the Grupo Metropolitano de Computación e Idiomas, where they pursued a Carrera Técnica in Programming. Charly completed this program in 2006. From 2007 to 2010, Charly attended Centro de Estudios Científicos y Tecnológicos No. 9, where they obtained a Carrera Técnica specializing in Programming. In March 2015, they earned a certification in "The Data Scientist's Toolbox" from Coursera Verified Certificates.
