Peter Vessenes

Peter Vessenes is a prominent entrepreneur and technologist with extensive experience in blockchain and Web3 industries. As Co-Founder of LAMINA1 since 2022, Vessenes focuses on creating infrastructure for the Open Metaverse. Vessenes also founded Studio6 in 2021, a venture studio dedicated to supporting Web3 projects with positive societal impacts. Additionally, Vessenes co-founded Noteworthy AG in 2020, which designs physical banknotes representing digital currencies, and has led Capital6 as Founder and Capital6 Eagle as Founding Partner since 2018, both focused on investing in innovative technology solutions. Prior to these roles, Vessenes founded New Alchemy, which specialized in blockchain technology solutions from 2016 to 2019, and co-founded The Bitcoin Foundation, serving as Executive Director from 2012 to 2014. Vessenes holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Mathematics with an emphasis in cryptography from Brown University.
