Edwin Kek

Edwin Kek is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in investment and portfolio management, currently serving as Senior Director of Group Strategic Investment at CapitaLand since January 2018. In this role, Edwin evaluates potential M&A investment opportunities across various sectors. Prior to this, Edwin held the position of Senior Director of Investment & Portfolio Management at CapitaLand, where over S$2 billion in assets under management were acquired and divested across multifamily, office, and industrial properties, and successful joint ventures in multifamily acquisitions were established. Edwin's previous experience at The Ascott Limited included directing business development and asset management, significantly expanding the hospitality portfolio across North America, Malaysia, and the Philippines. Educational credentials include a Master of Science in Management Science and Engineering from Stanford University and a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from the University of Michigan, along with ongoing executive education at INSEAD.
