Farid Alias

Farid Alias is a semi-retired professional with extensive experience in investment banking and corporate finance. They currently serve as a Board Member for CapitaLand and hold the position of Chairman at Bursa Malaysia. Previous roles include Group President and Chief Executive Officer at Maybank and Vice President of Investment Banking at JP Morgan. Farid has also been involved with several organizations as a Board Member, including Bursa Malaysia and CelcomDigi. They have an MBA in Finance from the University of Denver and a BSc in Accounting from Pennsylvania State University.
