Sherry Schaefer, MHS, currently serves as the Director of Emerging Leaders at Chavender since November 2023. With a significant tenure at CapitalCare, Sherry has held the positions of Senior Advisor and Co-Chair for the Walk With Me National Conference since October 2018, and previously directed the Foundation and Community Engagement from November 2010 to December 2023. Prior roles at CapitalCare included Care Manager and Community Liaison Manager from 2003 to 2010. Sherry's educational background includes a Master of Health Services in Organizational Leadership from Athabasca University (2008-2013) and a Bachelor of Recreation Administration from the University of Alberta (1985-1989).
